Thanks for your error reports and support!
To przemko,
There are indeed issues of that kind when running multiple instances of CS Crop Finder. The reason for this is that when I first created the application (for my alliance), the feature of running many instances was not thought into the design. So when I expanded the application to support this, it caused these bugs to arise due to the initial design. The bugs are on my list, but to handle them properly, would mean restructuring corners of the core.
To Paul,
Thanks for your comments and tests of the application. You would properly expect that only your city to be defended would need a rally point (to send out troops and cancel them again). But you are absolutely right, if your second city does not have a rally point, the defender will fail at this point. I can probably implement a fix to overcome this issue (or let you type in target city coordinates), so I will write this bug on my list.
Thanks again!
Best Regards.

Hello,
previous reported problem did not reoccur after I had a rally point in the second city. So probably it was related to this. I have been testing several attacks to myself and it not failed again. So hopefully this was the problem.
If it fails again I will report it again and I will write down the exact message from the popup I get.
Keep up the good work!

Hello again,
probably the problem can be bypassed by forcing to enter coordinates even if you have more then 1 city. I am willing to test it out.
PS: problems on 2 servers where I have more then 1 city. So it is not server related I think.

Hello,
I want to report a problem with the city defender. As long as I had 1 village everything was fine, but with 2 villages it does not let me enter coordinates and the defence fails by saying that it could not move my troops. I did not write down the exact message yet.

I would add some refresh/synchronization between multiple CS Crop Finder instances. I mean when I run multiple instances and create multiple build queues for various servers and villages then only one is saved on disk that I latest click on Save button and when I close all program instances then I have to reenter all other queues again - that is why program refresh would be nice.
But first important is to correct 2 bugs I reported before.

To engii,
And you are logging in using following URL syntax?
Travian server: http://s1.travian.co.uk
Login: UrUserName
Password: ********
If you are using that syntax my only other thought is that you might be behind a proxy server and need to enter proxy information in application settings?
Best Regards.

To engii,
I'm not sure what the problem could be? When does this error occur? Before starting the application? After the application has started? When logging in? During a specific feature?
To przemko,
You are the first reporting a Captcha due to CS Crop finder. That might mean they have found ways of detecting its use, or maybe the bug in the application gave it away (the bug might cause many request to the server in a row, depending on how severe it is). Thanks for reporting more details about it and I'm sorry to hear a Captcha turned up.
Best regards.

The latest bug I reported seems to happen when warehouse doesn't exist or is at low level.
Besides I just had a Captcha warning and my warehouses are emptied :( I don't know how, because I used only build queue.

How do I run the program?
Download CS-Cropfinder from the "download application"-link. The downloaded file is compressed using zip and needs to be unpacked before use (e.g. using WinZip). The uncompressed file is named TravianCropFinder.exe and double-clicking it launches the application.
Why won't the application run on my computer?
Make sure the .NET Framework 2.0 is installed on the computer you are executing the program from. If you don't know whether .NET 2.0 is installed start by checking the Add/Remove Programs dialog in the Windows Control Panel. Look for Microsoft .NET Framework followed by a version number. If you have Windows Vista installed, you also have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0. The application has been tested on Windows XP and Vista. I am currently looking into compiling the project for mono.
If you still can't run the application, write me a comment in the comments section elaborating the problem. Please describe the problem as precise as possible, so I can investigate it further and hopefully find a solution.
What is the main difference between CS-Cropfinder and the online webbased crop-finders?
Besides the obvious that CS-Cropfinder is a windows-application the webbased-cropfinders are caching their search results and therefore not up to date. CS-Cropfinder performs the search in real-time and therefore guarantee accurate results.
If CS-Cropfinder performs the search in real-time isn't it easy for the Travian-team to detect the program in use?
CS-Cropfinder simulates a user clicking the area fields on the Travian map through a web-browser making it difficult to detect (it imporsonates an Internet Explorer by utilizing the IE header in every request). Of course it would look suspecious if many fields were visted within a second and is why custom delay time has been implemented. If you are concerned about detection set the delay time to 1 second. By default the program performs the search as fast as possible.
Is the source code available for download?
The source code is unfortunately not available for download (and will not be in the near future).
Why are my cities not shown in the cities list?
The most common reason why your cities doesn't appear in the cities list is because their names include uncommon characters. To ensure your cities appear in the list, rename them using only the classical latin alphabet and numbers (numerical values).
